Our department is combined with Meilun campus, Shoufeng campus and Institute of Folk Literature. The department not only has long history but brand new appearance. The department includes a Bachelor program, three M.A. programs and two Ph.D. programs.

       In our department we are going to reinforce students language ability and broaden their vision, training up them to use Chinese language and literature proficiency. Our curriculum is holding not only classic but modern, trying to let classical literature blend into the contemporary literature so that present our vigor and our vitality. Courses are designed to comprehend the classical literature and modern literature. We expected our students to think and face of internationalization, localization and diversity of academic trend, and can apply what they learned. So we can face the new trend of Chinese culture in 21st century.
